Handmade Wedding Albums

Friday, April 1st, 2011

This might be my new favorite album style that we offer. They are totally handmade using Japanese silk book cloth, custom end papers (the end pages in the picture are white paper with a black felt raised pattern) and the cover can be embedded with a picture frame, locket, jewelry, even jewels. The possibilities with these are endless.

Carrie + Rick

Monday, March 21st, 2011

Here’s a few from Carrie and Rick’s fall wedding in Bellevue. We started the day getting ready in a suite at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. We did a little photo shoot in Lincoln Square before heading over to St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Bellevue, and then to the wedding reception at the Tam O’ Shanter Golf & Country Club.

Bridal Fashion Photography

Friday, February 25th, 2011

Here’s something out of my regular wheel house. I shoot fashion pictures and head shots in my studio all the time, but rarely wedding pictures.

The wedding dress is by local designer Wai-Ching.  She makes really cool, arty dresses, that are definitely unique. They were a lot of fun to photograph. Hair and Makeup was done by Maggie Wendt.

Kevin & Kate’s wedding at the Seattle Tennis Club… Definitely one of my favorites from last year.

This is often a shot that inexperienced photographers miss, that I absolutely love. The shot of the bride and groom is important to get, but if you swing around and shoot whats behind you, there is often a great shot of all their friends and family watching.
