A wedding at Delille Cellars in Woodinville

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

Here are some pictures from a recent wedding at Delille Cellars.

This is one of my favorite pictures of the day. Right after the ceremony as they walked down the hill, they stopped and kissed. I got the wide shot of the kiss, and then zoomed in with my telephoto lens and caught this great moment of them looking at each other. They both look so happy.

Birthday Surprise at the Herbfarm

Thursday, March 13th, 2008

Before the Share Our Strength dinner was planned for me to come, I already knew that I would be there the following week. Carrie was planning a surprise party for husband Ron’s 60th birthday party. As the passionate owners of the Herbfarm, she wanted to have the event at the restaurant that is so central to their lives. So she invited Ron’s friends both recent and those he hadn’t seen for a few years.

SOS Dinner!

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

I had the great pleasure of photographing a fundraising dinner for Share Our Strength. This is not your average fundraising dinner, however. The dinner was at the Herbfarm in Woodinville, which is the only five star restaurant in the Seattle area, and then added guest chefs from Seattle and around the country! The great thing about it is that the proceeds go to feed hungry children here in the United States. Below are a few of the images.

Q: Do you offer suggestions as to what vendors to use?
A: Yes, we provide a preferred vendor list.

Q: Do you offer day-of wedding coordination?
A: Yes, we are on-site the day of the wedding to help coordinate vendor needs, facilitate the ceremony and make sure the event goes flawless.

Q: What suggestions do you have for a bride that is choosing a venue?
A: I always tell my brides to select a few things that are the most important to them (venue, food, flowers, photography, etc.) and then focus the most time and money on those things. Everything else they should put at the end of their list and consider cutting corners. I also tell them to find a venue that they feel comfortable and relaxed at otherwise they will only be increasing the amount of stress they will feel on their wedding day.

Q: What do you charge?
A: $500 Gazebo rental fee; $1,500 Sammamish Ballroom rental fee; food & beverage minimums vary depending on date.
