By Seattle Wedding Photographers Joe & Jill.
Brooks and Cody boarded the Emerald Star Cruise Ship at Carillon Point for their wedding on Seattle’s Lake Washington. Jill photographed the the ladies at the Woodmark Hotel while Joe photographed the guys at a private residence. The guests were treated to a beautiful evening on the water with great food and great weather. Here are a couple images from the day . . .

Beth and Shaun are an inspiring couple. They love to eat (like us) but they’re inspiring athletes too (like we want to be).

Katie and Josh tied the knot at the courthouse in Downtown Seattle in front of an intimate gathering of family and friends. We were able to spend a lot of time with them before the ceremony which was a great opportunity for some fine art portraits. During the ceremony, we wanted to capture the emotional moments of this close knit group.

I love these kinds of “portraits” where the bride and groom are just interacting with each other. We always try to get a few with everyone smiling at the camera etc., but then also encourage our subjects to just be in the moment and concentrate on each other. It always results in great pictures.

Ceremony: University Presbyterian Church
Reception: Farestart
Bride and Groom : super fun to work with.

I love this shot. Maybe because of the large age gap between everyone, and the random positions and expressions, it’s one of those really interesting moments to look at.

Holly and Dustin decided to make a quick stop at Dick’s on the way over the reception.

Here are some pictures from Leah and Som’s wedding. It was an epic 2 day affair, starting with a traditional western style ceremony and reception at theSeattle Asian Art Museum, and then an Indian wedding ceremony at the Bellingham Ferry Terminal the next day.

Their cakes were super cool, including a salmon shaped groom’s cake by Mike’s Amazing Cakes.
