Here is the whole set of Annie & Ryan’s engagement portraits in the downtown Bellevue area. Annie and Ryan were a lot of fun to photograph. They are very happy together and up for whatever I had in mind - including laying down on the ground in a parking lot! I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next month!

This image was taken at the top of the Bellevue Square parking garage.

I liked this image. The texture comes from shooting through a chain link fence.

This was my favorite image of Ryan that I took that day. I like the lines of the fence, posts, and his shoulders.

Right in the middle of Bellevue, there is a Safeway that is going to be demolished soon. Perfect spot for a portrait!

Here’s a recent engagement session we did at Greenlake. We often reschedule portrait sessions if it’s raining, but after this one I may start trying to shoot more in the rain. It ended up working out really well because the rain made all the colors really pop, and the soft grey light was perfect.

Here’s a couple from images from Trinh and Dao’s engagement session. We had a great time shooting outdoors in the 90 degree heat, and then went in to do a few in the studio of them wearing their traditional tea ceremony outfits.
